Gerald Cox Dip Performing Arts RSA Dip TEFL MCSE

Gerald originally trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London where he did a three year course in the Performing Arts. He worked as a professional actor for several years in television, theatre and radio.

After re-training in the IT industry he became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He worked for ten years in the IT world for companies such as Reuters and Microsoft presenting Networking and software IT training courses all over Europe and the Middle East. He also worked as a Drama Adjudicator for Drama Festivals in the United Kingdom and in Hong Kong.

Since then Gerald has been teaching LAMDA Drama courses in schools and in a private practice. He also works as a Voice Coach and Presentation Skills Trainer with individuals and companies. With the greatly increased interest in poetry during the pandemic a friend (Paul Godden Artist and Web Designer) and I have been working on a new project called Listen to Poetry. Currently we have over 160 recordings of poems and prose from more than 60 poets and writers on the website. We have included lots of poems for children and also out of copyright GCSE and A’ Level English syllabus poems. We hope to encourage people of all ages to listen to poetry more. Lucia Fausset BA (HONS) PGCE

Lucia trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, where she did a degree and teacher training in Drama and Education. She worked as a professional actress for a number of years in television and theatre. Lucia had her own theatre company and youth theatre clubs, for which she cast, produced and directed shows. She created and performed in educational theatre, running workshops for schools around the country.

Lucia has taught drama in schools for many years, including Years One to Eleven. She has taught curriculum drama, directed shows and prepared a lot of young people for LAMDA exams. She has also taught GCSE Drama. She has prepared pupils to compete in verse and acting at arts festivals and for The English Speaking Board exams. Lucia has also worked privately teaching speech and drama, presentation and public speaking skills and voice production.
